Duct Sealing in Houston, TX

Seal the leaks in your ductwork so cooled air reaches your rooms instead of the attic — with mastic at accessible joints and interior sealing for hard-to-reach leaks.

Quick answer

Which duct sealing method is right for my home?

If leakage is moderate and joints are accessible, mastic sealing of boots, collars and plenum seams is usually enough. If leakage is high (often 20%+) or ducts are hidden in walls and floors, interior aerosol sealing such as Aeroseal reaches leaks from the inside. We test before and after so you see the improvement in CFM25.

Overview

What is duct sealing?

Most duct leaks are at connections — where flex meets a collar, at register boots and around the plenum. Foil tape often fails in hot attics; mastic lasts.

We test, seal accessible joints with mastic and mesh, re-strap sagging flex, and recommend aerosol sealing when leaks are out of reach. Then we retest.

Duct Sealing is part of our duct repair & installation. Many customers book it together with duct leakage testing.
