Duct Leakage Testing in Houston, TX

Measure how much conditioned air your ducts lose into the attic. A duct leakage test gives a real number, so you know whether sealing is worth it.

Quick answer

What is a duct leakage test?

A calibrated fan pressurizes the duct system to a standard pressure (25 pascals) while registers are sealed, and measures how much air escapes — reported as CFM25. The result shows how leaky the system is, helps target repairs and verifies sealing work.

Overview

What is duct leakage testing?

Leaky ducts in an attic pull in hot, dusty air and dump cooled air where you do not need it. Leaks are common at boots, plenums and joints.

We seal registers, connect the test fan, take readings, and if leakage is high, help locate the worst leaks with a smoke pencil or camera. After sealing we retest to confirm results.

Duct Leakage Testing is part of our duct repair & installation. Many customers book it together with duct sealing.
