What is air handler cleaning?
In Texas attics, air handlers work in 130°F+ heat while handling cold, wet air inside. Gaps around filter racks let unfiltered dust in, and the drain pan becomes a breeding ground if it does not drain completely.
We shut down power, open the cabinet, clean all interior surfaces, clean the blower assembly, wash the coil, flush the pan and condensate line, check the float switch, and seal obvious air leaks around the cabinet and filter rack.
Air Handler Cleaning is part of our hvac cleaning services. Many customers book it together with hvac cleaning.

Frequently asked questions
Where is my air handler?
In most Texas homes it is in the attic, a hallway closet or the garage.
Why is there water in my secondary pan?
The primary drain is likely clogged. Have it cleared quickly to avoid ceiling damage.
Is air handler cleaning part of duct cleaning?
Our duct cleaning includes the cabinet area; a full air handler cleaning adds blower and coil work.
